Peel Regional Investment Blueprint 2050 Monitoring Consultation
Project Intention
Questa Collaborative was engaged by the Peel Development Commission in 2023 to design and deliver the 5-yearly consultation process to assess how the region was tracking against agreed indicators, review initiatives identified against the Blueprint strategies and set regional priorities for collaboration in the coming five year period.
Project Outcomes
Questa designed a process that aimed to promote an in-depth evaluation, gathering qualitative data through stakeholder interviews (Phase I) and facilitating productive and generative discussions about the achievements and learnings of the previous five years and the key regional strategic priorities and opportunities for the next period, in a collective stakeholder workshop.
The consultation process also provided an opportunity to continue building and strengthening relationships, promoting alignment and cohesion amongst stakeholders.

The Peel Regional Investment Blueprint was launched in December 2015 following two years of consultation with over 200 stakeholders. The Blueprint provides a shared vision of the Peel as a progressive, prosperous and dynamic region and outlines strategies for regional stakeholders to work towards to achieve that vision.
To monitor regional progress against Blueprint goals and strategies the Commission provides an annual update on the collective achievements of stakeholders via Blueprint Scorecards. Additionally, once every five years following release of ABS Census data the Commission undertakes a more in depth monitoring and consultation process with stakeholders.
The first was undertaken in 2018 and the second in 2023. The monitoring process provides an opportunity to take a closer look at how the region is tracking against agreed indicators, review initiatives identified against the Blueprint strategies and set regional priorities for collaboration in the coming 5 year period.
